Grid-7 has handed us a Mondrian who got stuck in an elevator: the left half is nothing but vertical yellow-and-black stripes that read less like abstraction and more like a barcode for a discontinued sofa. The single horizontal red bar doing all the emotional heavy lifting beside that brooding blue rectangle is, I'll grant you, at least load-bearing. It says exactly nothing, as promised, which is more than most of us manage after a long day.
